My holiday, by Tamara

I'm on holiday in England.We're here from Monday to Monday.We've already done a lot of different things.We've been on a big, the Big-Beng.We've also ridden on the London Eye.On Tuesday,we met a guide and he took us to see the Globe Theatre. On Sunday, i decided to go shopping and eat on the restaurant. Today,I'm going to see Madame Tussauds museum.I very funny!!!

My Holiday by Maryam

I´m on holiday in morocco.We´re her from ; Friday,Saturday and Sunday.We´ve been here for three days,On Friday , I get up at ten o´clock the morning I have a breakfast and went to the beach and then i went home with my family and i have dinner together and celebrate a big party . On saturday in afternoon I went shopping at stores morocco , and at night we went with my cousins and ate with restaurants hamburguers and drinks . On sunday i go to the street an speak with may friends and ate ice cream and at night i go to spein in plane .

MY HOLIDAY, BY ANABEL

MY HOLIDAY BY ANABEL My last holidays were my longest holidays. I enjoyed a lot with my friends,and my family and i met new people. The first place I visited was Calpe, a town in Alicante ,because I was invited from some days by a friend who was a house there. At eleven o´clock we got up and went to beach. At night we danced ,we met people, walked near the beach while we watched the moon. Next in August , I went to Paris with my parents and my brother. I didn´t go to Paris, i went to Disneyland, we stayed there four days and it was really unforgettable. At the moorning we met a guide. On Tuesday i decided to go shopping. Finally were we didn´t visit anything.After those days we came back to Madrid. We had to start our routines again!

UNIDAD: CULTURAL CELEBRATIONS IN GREAT BRITAIN

OBJETIVOS:
 1. Conseguir que los alumnos muestren interés por la cultura y no únicamente por la segunda lengua que están aprendiendo.
2. Comparar las costumbres de ambos paises
3. Ser capaces de entender textos en lengua inglesa relativos al tema en cuestión.
4. Despertar iniciativa para investigar en internet.
5. Desarrollar un nivel adecuado para expresar aspectos generales de una cultura extranjera, con vocabulario y expresiones útiles.
6. Entrelazar nexos de unión entre contenidos de Historia Universal y la lengua extranjera
7. Utilizar sus conocimientos informáticos para ayudar en sus presentaciones.

DESTINATARIOS: Alumnos de 1º BAchillerato

TEMPORALIZACIÓN: 5 sesiones de 50'

ACTIVIDADES:
- En la primera sesión  se utilizará el video creado como un introducción en el tema y al mismo tiempo, como oferta de ideas y posibilidades.
Una vez visualizado, los alumnos tendrán que formar grupos de tres para escribir preguntas relativas a las festividades culturales en el mundo anglosajón que aparecen en el video.
- En la segunda sesión, trabajarán grupalmente la información recogida para preparar su presentación oral ,la cual elegirán de las sugeridas en el video o cualquier otra que ellos consideren relevante.
- La tercera sesión se ocupará totalmente para realizar las exposiciones y responder las preguntas preparadas el primer día. Los alumnos podrán utilizar presentaciones power point para completar su exposición.
- En la cuarta sesión cada grupo preparará una lista de vocabulario relativa a su presentación que considere interesante para sus compañeros. Con este material realizarán un proyecto visual escrito para exponer en el aula.
- En la quinta sesión los alumnos, divididos esta vez en parejas, prepararán un cuestionario tipo trivial para jugar en clase relativo al tema de celebraciones culturales. El equipo con más respuestas acertadas será el ganador.

EVALUACIÓN:
Los alumnos tendrán una nota oral por su exposición en el aula y una nota escrita por su proyecto para exponer en el aula.
